Prior to Law360, Shawn was a reporter with Mealey's Publications, both companies are subsidiaries of LexisNexis. He reported on breaking state Supreme Court decisions, federal/state legislation and regulation and growing trends in the insurance industry to a large audience that encompassed attorneys at Big Law firms and brokers/agents/insiders at top insurance companies.

Shawn earned his B.A. in English and communication from Cabrini University. His graduate work began at Villanova University in Public Relations, Strategic Communications and Paralegal programs, culminating in a Masters in Leadership at Cabrini University.
