Kim Myers has more than 20 years of corporate communications/public relations experience in both in-house and agency settings. She has worked in a wide array of industries including cyber security, enterprise SaaS software, media & entertainment, financial services, B2B technology, legal and compliance.
Kim has created public relations programs from inception through strategic execution. She's worked with multi-billion-dollar market cap companies, drafting press releases, message development, image management, crisis communications, copyediting, writing blog posts and social media content, and supporting investor relations initiatives. While Kim's experience spans all facets of communications, she is best known for her media relations skills. She has placed many stories on the front pages of top tier publications including, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, New York Times, Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times, as well as key trade publications.
Kim is a former newsPRos team member and rejoins the company after nearly 3 years representing cyber security companies, where she helped streamline the communications program, prepared the companies for an IPO, managed day-of pricing media coverage, product launches, and diffused crisis situations. Prior to cyber security, Kim advised companies in the compliance industry, audio technology, and app-based human resources programs.
Kim is a University of Pittsburgh graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Sociology. She resides in Baltimore with her husband and two daughters and is a strong advocate of environmental sustainability programs and mental health awareness.
