Madelaine is based on the east coast and provides strategic media relations and communications counsel to newsPRos legal industry clients ranging from a global Am Law 50 firm to a specialized, award-winning social justice litigation boutique. A former litigation attorney, she has extensive experience in the legal industry, and more than fifteen years senior corporate communications experience spent primarily working with law firms.
Prior to supporting newsPRos clients, Madelaine was the communications director at a New York-based AmLaw 50 law firm for eleven years where she built and managed a full-service communications department from the ground up, including media relations, thought leadership programs, events/speaking engagements, content development, and submissions/directories, with a focus towards advancing the firm’s business development initiatives. Madelaine has also provided communications counsel as a consultant to various law firms in New York, a leading provider of arbitration services and non-profit organizations. Madelaine began her career in communications at both a global top five public relations agency and a boutique agency.
Madelaine is admitted to practice in New York and Pennsylvania and closely follows legal developments as part of her commitment as a former attorney. She has provided pro bono support to various non-profit organizations including the New York Women's Foundation Grants Advisory Committee, New York City Bar Justice Center's Veteran's Assistance Project and the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia. She earned her J.D. from Temple University School of Law and B.A. in English from the University of Arizona.
